Who we are
Irish Around Sydney is run by Palmer Productions LLC as part of the Irish Around Oz network. You can reach us any time at admin@irisharoundoz.com.
Free listings
Adding a business to the Business Directory or an event to the Events page is free and stays free. We review every submission before it goes up, and we may edit it for length or clarity, or decline it if it isn’t relevant to the Irish community in Sydney. Events come down automatically the day after they finish. To change or remove a listing, email us.
Premium
- Premium is a monthly subscription, currently AU$59 per month, billed in Australian dollars through Stripe.
- It gives you pre-approved posting in the Irish Around Sydney Facebook group for your business, offers and events, a featured listing in the Business Directory, and a Featured badge for your events on the Events page.
- Premium is for promoting a business, product, service or event. It does not cover job advertising, which is a separate product on Irish Around Oz.
- You can cancel at any time using the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We don’t refund part months.
- If we change the price, we’ll tell you by email before your next renewal.
Posting in the group
Premium or not, every post has to follow the Irish Around Sydney group rules and be relevant to the community. We can remove posts, and in serious or repeated cases end a subscription, if those rules are broken. Facebook’s own terms apply to anything posted there.
Your rights
Nothing here takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If something has gone wrong with your subscription or listing, email us and we’ll sort it.
